We would like to congratulate WVCBA member Armando Casillas from Montecito Bank & Trust for being a recipient of the Pacific Coast Business Times' Latino Business Awards! The 12th annual Latino Business Awards recognizes the work of Latinos who live in Santa Barbara and other neighboring cities for creative work that has led to the betterment of the community and formation of job opportunities. Armando Casillas is the branch manager of the Oxnard Montecito Bank & Trust, which he was tasked with opening. Casillas’s assistance in opening the fourth MB&T in Ventura County will help to keep the surge of development in Oxnard continuing. Many of the employees at MB&T rely on Casillas for the support and assistance he willingly provides. Casillas is a large part of the community at MB&T as he is always willing to step in and assist in any way. He also has a collaborative nature which is demonstrated through his sense of humor, and his use of dad jokes. Casillas is on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Ventura and on the board of CSU Channel Islands, as well as being appointed Commissioner for the Oxnard Recreation & Community Services division. WVCBA note: He is also a 2022 graduate of the Oxnard Leadership Program. Congratulations, Armando!
