A Catalyst for Business GrowthWhen you join the WVCBA, the doors open to an array of promotional, networking and educational opportunities – all designed to help grow your business or organization.
We can help expose your business to thousands of potential new customers. Our website, weekly newsletter, blog, social media, online business directory, annual Business and Community Guide, and Dallas Cowboys Training Camp souvenir program are all valuable sources for promoting your business or organization. We answer hundreds of inquiries every month regarding business, tourism and relocation, and we only refer member companies. Our events will help grow your network and can bring attention to your business: become a sponsor, host a happy hour, lead a seminar, or donate a raffle item or door prize. If you’re a brand-new or recently opened business, let us help mark the occasion with a ribbon cutting ceremony or grand opening celebration. We even help businesses get work done through conference room rentals and providing certificates of origin. |
A Convener for Leaders and Influencers |
When you join the WVCBA, you’re instantly part of an outstanding business community with 700 members representing more than 40,000 employees.
We provide numerous opportunities for the business community and government officials to come together, including the annual State of the City addresses for Camarillo and Oxnard. Every year, our Business and Economic Outlook luncheon welcomes well-known speakers who address the current business and economic opportunities, challenges and trends. Our committees enable leaders to get more involved in the community, and meet like-minded people with common interests and business priorities. |
A Champion for a Stronger CommunityWhen you join the WVCBA, you show your commitment to our community.
We value the quality of life in the communities of Camarillo and Oxnard and encourage economic vitality. We keep our eyes and ears on City Council meetings, and in Sacramento and Washington, D.C., and personally meet with elected officials, which allows our members to focus on their businesses knowing that we are advocating for them. We consider advocacy for our members our top priority. Our Business Advocacy Committee is committed to scrutinizing issues affecting business on the local, state and federal levels, and our Political Action Committee seeks out, evaluates qualifications of, and endorses candidates for public office who support the ideals of our free enterprise system. Every year, we honor local heroes and leaders who make the region an outstanding place to live, work or do business in through our annual Military Appreciation Dinner, Camarillo Top 10 Awards, and Oxnard Community & Business Awards. |
