WVCBA Congratulates Supervisors on Election Results

​The West Ventura County Business Alliance is pleased to congratulate Supervisors LaVere, Long, and Lopez on the March 5 Primary Election preliminary results. Although there are still votes to count, the results are quite comfortable for the incumbents. 

As of March 11, District 1 Supervisor Matt LaVere had nearly 77% of the votes. Supervisors do not have to participate in a November runoff if they receive 50% plus one vote in the Primary Election. The WVCBA endorsed Supervisor LaVere in his re-election bid.

Congratulations also go out to Supervisor Kelly Long. As of press deadlines she had accumulated nearly 63% of the votes for District 3, which was close to double the votes of her closest challenger. The WVCBA also endorsed Ms. Long for re-election.

Finally, congratulations go out to Vianey Lopez in the District 5 race where she received 100% of the votes. Supervisor Lopez was unopposed in her first election to the office. Ms. Lopez was appointed by Governor Newsome to serve as the District 5 Supervisor.
