​Member Spotlight: Synectic Solutions Inc.

WVCBA is pleased to welcome Synectic Solutions Inc. as a new member! Synectic Solutions has been a longstanding defense contractor in Ventura County since 1997 and is headquartered in Camarillo. Synectic Solutions is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned small business with 120+ employees who work diligently to support the Navy and Naval Base Ventura County. Support of weapons and missile readiness is provided for America’s Sailors, Airmen, and Marines, providing the best equipment and services in weapons defense.

SSI’s President and CEO, Scott Koslow, is a local resident of Camarillo along with his wife and three adult children. Mr. Koslow states, “We love our local community here in Ventura County.”
 
Mr. Koslow is a Navy retiree from Point Mugu with 20 years of dedicated service. He also supported the Navy as a government employee, refining his technical and business acumen with Department of Defense focused experience. While on active duty, he was a technical expert and an end-user of contractor deliverables. As the Division Director and Senior Contracts Manager for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) in Ventura County, he held an unlimited warrant and was responsible for ensuring efficient contractor performance.
 
In addition, Mr. Koslow has worked for defense contractors of various sizes as a Chief Growth Officer, Vice President of West Coast Operations, Director of Business Development, and more. As a result, he has deep expertise in management functions, including program management and executive management, and an in-depth understanding of Government Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), contract cost, and pricing strategies.
 
Mr. Koslow also has over 10 years of experience preparing “winning” proposals, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating $100M+ contracts. He has a deep understanding of complex agreements (domestic and international), foreign military sales (FMS), and U.S. contracts (CPAF, CPFF, IDIQ, FFP, T&M, BOA).
 
Mr. Koslow has a proven track record of implementing startup contract administration, managing departments, and motivating high-performance contract management teams. He has a consistently proven ability to provide outstanding customer satisfaction and service (to internal as well as external customers) and to hit the ground running, inspire others, and produce exceptional results.
