Member Spotlight: Personal Parent Care, Inc.

The WVCBA recently welcomed Personal Parent Care, Inc. as a new member! They provide geriatric care management & consulting, including FREE facility placement referral services and caregiver referrals. ​

​How and when did the business get started? 
In 1993, my former partner and I wanted to provide assistance to families dealing with the challenging issues of caring for aging parents, and decided to launch this very new type of service at that time in Ventura County. Through the years we expanded to add Facility Placement Referrals and In Home Caregiver Services.

What is your mission or motto?
To assist families and others to navigate the challenges and difficulties of caring for aging parents or family members. To become like surrogate family members, to make this experience less stressful for all, and have the best outcomes possible. We are "One Source for all your Eldercare Needs".

What’s one thing your business is known for over its competitors?
We have been doing this work for almost 30 years, so experience is number one. We are flexible, dependable, trustworthy and easy to work with. Our reputation in the County is excellent.

Why did you choose Ventura County for your location?
We have lived, worked and raised our families in this County for many years, and are committed to helping those who live here. Although we have provided services to others from surrounding Counties as well.

How can our community help your business? 
We hope to meet and educate new community members all the time about these kinds of services and to connect them with other resources in the County who can assist them, as well as ourselves.  We then hope that they will pass on this information to others.

What else would you like to share about your business? 
We have been Certified Senior Advisors for many years, are connected with so many other services and resources in this County and others. Our main goal is, if we can't help you, we will try to find someone who can!
