Member Spotlight: Jay Ziebart, Plant Based for Life

​Get to know Jay Ziebart, our "Maven of the Month" brought to you by our Women In Business committee. Jay is a nutritionist and a resident of Ventura County for over 20 years. At Plant Based for Life, she elevates people’s knowledge about nutrition and overall wellness practices. 

Jay’s driving passion is to reduce suffering because so many of us are hurting without realizing how much power we have over our own health. She discovered her purpose and vision through her own experiences.  From a health scare that promised she would not be around for long - to complete reversal of diagnosis, no medications, and a vibrant and energetic life! This prompted an immediate return to school at the time so that she could be qualified to share this knowledge with anyone willing to listen! She now focuses all her energy on bringing that knowledge, joy, and peace to others.  

Jay has been a volunteer health educator with Ventura County Public Health, an Education Specialist with two of our local hospitals, and continues to work with individuals and groups, and to collaborate with others that have discovered the power and impact of this important mission.  

There is so much noise, confusion, and misinformation about nutrition. Jay focuses solely on the science.  Evidence based nutrition facts only.
