Here is what she has to say about her services in her own words.  Tell us about you and/or the company you represent. Creating and enabling the feeling of empowerment in my clients is my passion. Helping them reach beyond their expectations is my drive. Seeing them reach their goals is my joy. Providing educated and helpful guidance through the home buying process as a Loan Officer with Guild Mortgage is so rewarding. Helping families and individuals reach not only their homeownership goals, but their financial growth is what keeps me thriving. Being in the finance industry since I was nineteen years old has given me a great foundation in the mortgage industry since 2001. Seeing all the changes and challenges throughout the years has helped me expand my knowledge, skills, and attitude to help those who really need more than just a home loan. Having been a Financial Coach, Homeownership Counselor, Credit Advisor, and Program Manager for nine years gave me the drive to help our community expand their options. I enjoy helping families and individuals see how they can accomplish their goals with an action plan to make their dreams a reality. I am here to help, and love doing it! As someone involved in business in the region, how does the Alliance help you? The West Ventura County Business Alliance has proven to be a great resource. I’ve been welcomed to participate in local events and invited to showcase our company and services at the Alliance’s mixers and business expos. This has allowed me to build new relationships with amazing people, expand my knowledge about our county, and create business partnerships that have strengthened my reach throughout the county. On top of that, the Women In Business committee has been a true gem, connecting me with fabulous professional women. What’s an interesting fact about your business most people don’t know? A stand-out feature of our mortgage company is our individual attention for clients planning their homeownership journey. We offer a detailed and custom pre-purchase assessment, which leads to a specific action plan. In the assessment, we complete a comprehensive review of income, credit, debt, and savings. Clients identify their ideal and affordable scenario for their future mortgage payment and financial situation at the time of purchasing their home. We then create steps to achieve their specific goals. We help them with education along their path with money management online courses and homeownership courses. “My Path 2 Own” is a great way for a first time-buyer to gain essential knowledge about the home loan process and being a homeowner. Do you have any advice for new business owners? I highly recommend new business owners get involved in their communities. Attending WVCBA events, ribbon cuttings, and special presentations is a great way to do that. Getting to know the local businesses in our community allows you to build your resource guide and be a stronger asset for your clients and local partners.
