Member Spotlight: County Schools FCU

The WVCBA recently welcomed County Schools FCU as a new member! They provide financial services and are celebrating the opening of a new branch in Ventura at 3954 E. Main Street. Marketing coordinator Cynthia Romo looks forward to meeting members of the WVCBA community and building a relationship with one another.

How and when did the business get started?
County Schools Federal Credit Union opened on January 14, 1960, as Ventura Schools Federal Credit Union. A group of eight educators had a vision to create a not-for-profit financial cooperative to serve the educational community in Ventura County, embracing the credit union motto of “people helping people.”
