What is the company's mission?             
We are providing an "on the water" experience observing the wildlife in the Channel Islands Harbor and the surrounding waters.  We focus on educating our customers about conservation and good stewardship of our vital ecosystem.  We also emphasize the rich cultural history of our harbor, while on the tour by pointing out landmarks of the harbor.

What’s one thing the business is known for over its competitors?               
Intimate, roomy setting (fewer than 6 paying passengers at a time). Our tours are designed to be local, and efficient allowing our customers to experience other attractions while visiting our harbor.         
 
Why did the business choose Oxnard as its location?        
The location is conducive and ideal for this type of wildlife tour. There are many marine animals to be seen, inside the harbor and within a few miles out to sea. 

The boat used for the tours (FV North Sea) was primarily used as a commercial sea urchin dive boat for years, calling Channel Islands Harbor its home port.  The Captain is a seasoned veteran of the Santa Barbara Channel, having logged thousands of crossings to the Channel Islands, over his five-year Commercial Fishing Career.      
 
Are there any new services planned you can tell us about?           
Right now, we have 2 types of tours, but will soon be expanding to offer nighttime and sunset tours. We anticipate this to coincide with the daylight savings time change, and just in time for the holiday season.

How can the community help?   
We want to provide our customers with an experience that stays with them for years, and encourages them to visit our area again.  We are looking for other businesses to offer their services to our customers, and we will promote other local businesses.
