The West Ventura County Business Alliance has opened nominations for the first-ever WVCBA Business Awards. The 2025 Business Awards will shine a light on the businesses and individuals who contribute to the economic vitality of the Camarillo and Oxnard communities. “Throughout the year, we’ve focused on bridging the communities we serve through thoughtfully curated events and panel discussions,” says WVCBA President & CEO Andy Conli. “We’re very excited for 2025 to culminate with a fun, heart-warming awards show to celebrate businesses, organizations, and individuals who are having a positive impact in our business community!” Along with the long-standing traditions of bestowing the Stan Daily Lifetime Achievement Award for Camarillo and the Oxnard Trophy, the WVCBA Business Awards will recognize 10 honorees:
• Business of the Year – Camarillo • Business of the Year – Oxnard • Small Business of the Year – Camarillo • Small Business of the Year – Oxnard • Nonprofit of the Year • Education Partner of the Year • Businessperson of the Year – Camarillo • Businessperson of the Year – Oxnard • Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Camarillo • Young Entrepreneur of the Year – Oxnard Nominations for all 12 categories are open to the public and close Friday, September 19. You do not have to be a WVCBA member to submit nominations or win an award. Winners will be chosen by a selection committee. A celebratory awards show will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Levity Live at The Collection at RiverPark and emceed by a local comedian. Registration will open soon.
