WVCBA CEO joins CA Travel Association's Advocacy Days in Sacramento

WVCBA President & CEO Andy Conli joined over 100 delegates in Sacramento on May 12-13 for  California Travel Association's Advocacy Days to build relationships with legislators, reinforce the importance of travel and tourism, and elevate the industry’s priorities. ​Attendees are grouped by district and meet with their local elected officials about current legislation and issues that impact the economy, primarily around tourism. His group met with Senate President pro Tempore Monique Limón, and Assemblymembers Steve Bennett, Gregg Hart, and Jacqui Irwin. 

​Every year, over 100 travel and tourism leaders from across California gather in Sacramento for Tourism Advocacy Days to meet with their legislators, reinforce the importance of travel and tourism, and elevate the industry’s most pressing issues. The two-day event includes legislative meetings, advocacy trainings, educational sessions, networking opportunities, and more. The event is vital to helping protect and advance California tourism at the state level.
