​WVCBA and Port of Hueneme Show Appreciation for Local Service Members at Channel Islands Maritime Museum

WVCBA hosted its annual Military Appreciation Mixer on Thursday, August 13, bringing together the local business community and service members. The event was graciously hosted by the Port of Hueneme and held at the scenic Channel Islands Maritime Museum. Attendees enjoyed complimentary food and beverages while building meaningful connections between civilian leaders and personnel from Naval Base Ventura County. Local businesses stepped up to showcase their gratitude by contributing numerous door prizes, which were raffled off exclusively to active-duty personnel and veterans in attendance. A huge thank you to the Port of Hueneme, the Channel Islands Maritime Museum, and all the local business owners who contributed to making this evening a wonderful success!
