WVCBA President and CEO Andy Conli spent the weekend volunteering alongside the Rotary Club of Camarillo at the annual Wings Over Camarillo Air Show serving up refreshments at the busy Rotary booth.

Fisherman’s Wharf Demolition & Revitalization Kickoff & Community Celebration - August 15, 2026

​WVCBA CEO Andy Conli joined local leaders at the official groundbreaking and demolition ceremony for Karl's Village at the Channel Islands Harbor. The strawberry-themed waterfront destination, replacing the former Fisherman’s Wharf, is slated to feature artisan markets, family entertainment, and dining options ahead of its anticipated Spring 2028 grand opening.

Grocery Outlet 80th Anniversary - August 15, 2026

WVCBA President and CEO Andy Conli was on-hand to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Grocery Outlet stores nationwide. He joined Jorge, Cynthia and the team at Oxnard Grocery Outlet on North Ventura Road for the milestone event that featured local outreach partnerships, giveaways, and family-friendly festivities.

Oxnard Leadership Program at Dallas Cowboys Training Camp - August 14, 2026

Current cohort members and alumni of the Oxnard Leadership Program connected on Friday to learn exactly what it takes to bring the Dallas Cowboys Training Camp to Oxnard year after year. Hosting a major NFL camp takes a village, and our leaders got a front-row lesson in regional collaboration, hospitality, and tourism strategy from presenters Matt O'Neill from the City of Oxnard, Brittany Workman from Staybridge Suites, Michelle Flippo (OLP 2025) and Daniel Cabrera from Visit Oxnard, and Ryan Hart and Brian Tucker from Ventura County Coast.
