What products or services do you provide?
We provide clients with personalized, holistic financial plans. Equitable Advisors works with our clients to understand their financial situation before offering recommendations. Products and services include term and whole life insurance, disability insurance, group benefits such as health and retirement plans, annuity, as well as investment advisory and brokerage services.

How and when did the business get started?
Equitable has been around since 1859! The firm has gone through several iterations (most recently it was AXA) and has grown to over 4,000 advisors nationally with 200 in Southern California alone. Historically a large player in the life insurance space as that industry was emerging over a century ago, today we offer a comprehensive suite of financial planning and protection solutions.

What’s one thing the business is known for over its competitors?
While we are a large, publicly traded company, you won’t see us taking out Super Bowl Ads! Equitable Advisors enjoy the support of a robust team of product experts, administrative support, and institutional stability. A key differentiator is that individual advisors are given an open architecture of solutions and a great deal of flexibility in how to run their practices. This means that we can offer a broad range of products and services and better personalize our advice to clients.

How can the community help the business?
We want to get in front of businesses! Legislative changes and the upcoming election cycle mean new requirements, as well as opportunities, for businesses and business owners.

As the local advisor here in West Ventura County, I am proud to be working with individuals and businesses in our community. Equitable has a strong presence in Southern California, and I aim to grow our footprint here in Ventura County through serving people in my community.
