WVCBA is delighted to welcome United Parents as a member! United Parents is on a mission to provide resources to empower, strengthen and support parents and other caregivers who have youth and/or children with mental health, behavioral, and/or emotional disorders. .What products or services does United Parents provide? 
Peer-supported mental health services for parents/caregivers raising children with mental health needs.

How and when did United Parents get started?
Founder Ellen Linder saw the need for parent support and started support groups in 1990. United Parents was incorporated in 1991.

What’s one thing United Parents is known for?
We are a parent-run organization with over 50% board and staff with lived expertise

Do you have any new projects?  
Parent Drop-in Centers located in Fillmore and Oxnard.

How can the business community help?
Volunteer and help us spread the word about our services and reduce the stigma associated with mental health issues.
