WVCBA is delighted to welcome Puretec Industrial Water as a member! Puretec provides high-purity water solutions for industrial businesses, including deionized water service, water softening, reverse osmosis, mobile trailers, and many other high-purity water solutions. Marketing Director Elisia Choi shares more about the business. How and when did the business get started?
Puretec Industrial Water began in 1966 when Jim Harris (CEO) came up with the idea to help Southern California Edison wash transmission lines with deionized water. Since then, Puretec has grown into an innovative industrial water service company that covers the Southwestern United States. What is the company's mission? We believe in doing the right thing, showing people we care, and getting your problem solved with a sense of urgency. What’s one thing you're known for over your competitors? In 1999, as large corporations began to acquire regional water service providers across the United States, we made the choice to remain independent. We knew that a large publicly traded company could not possibly provide the same level of service that our customers were accustomed to. Besides being flexible and providing super-fast service, what make us stand out is that we are the only company solely focused on providing high purity solutions for companies that require water as a rinse or ingredient in their process and products. The other large corporations offer a myriad of water services, but inevitably struggle to provide the attention and service that complex high purity water systems require. What else do you want the community to know? Puretec has earned the prestigious Great Place to Work certification for seven consecutive years, a testament to our unwavering commitment to both our employees and customers.
