Business Community Unites to Salute Local Heroes at 29th Annual Military Appreciation Dinner

The West Ventura County Business Alliance (WVCBA) invites the community to honor local service members at the 29th Annual Military Appreciation Dinner on Friday, September 25, 2026. The event will take place from 6:00 to 9:30 pm at the Holiday Inn Oxnard-Ventura, located at 600 E. Esplanade Drive, Oxnard, CA 93036. ​

"Our local military personnel and their families are an integral part of Ventura County," said Andy Conli, President & CEO of the WVCBA. "The Military Appreciation Dinner is a powerful tradition that allows our business community to stand together, say thank you, and celebrate the incredible sacrifices and volunteer contributions these heroes make both on and off duty."  

This year’s keynote speaker is Captain Andy Litteral, Chief Staff Officer of Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC). The evening will celebrate outstanding individual honorees recognized for their exemplary military service, impactful community involvement, and dedicated volunteer efforts. 

Advance registration is required at wvcba.org or (805) 738-9100. Tickets cost $85 per person or $60 per enlisted service member and include a three-course dinner with wine. 

Sponsorship opportunities are currently available, offering local businesses a meaningful way to show support for regional military personnel:  

• Title Sponsor is available for $3,500 and includes speaking time at the podium, a table for eight, and a half-page ad in the event program. 
• Presenting Sponsor is available for $2,250 ($1,750 for WVCBA members) and includes presenting an award to an honoree, six reserved seats, and a quarter-page ad.  
• Supporting Sponsor is available for $1,750 ($1,250 for WVCBA members) and includes four reserved seats and a one-eighth-page ad.  
• New for 2026, a special sponsorship option allows you to purchase two tickets for enlisted personnel for $120, with the attending service members selected directly by Naval Base Ventura County commanding officers.
