Chowderfest is back at Channel Islands Maritime MuseumOn Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00-6:00 pm, the Channel Islands Maritime Museum will once again host Chowderfest in the beautiful Channel Islands Harbor. This year’s event will feature a stellar lineup of local restaurants along with live music by the Ray Jaurique Trio, wine tastings, museum tours, harbor cruises, and cool ocean breezes. They are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help bring the magic to life so sign up at below. Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Lineup for FallThe Osher Lifelong Learning Institute lineup for Fall includes topics ranging from brain health to the solar system. Gerontologist Kelsey Uyeda will explore the science of brain health with “The Brain And…,” one of 13 courses offered during the Fall I session of CSU Channel Islands’ (CSUCI) Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI).
